As a co-founder, scaled a company in the maritime sector from its inception to a team of over 13 employees, while maintaining overall technical responsibility throughout. Designed and implemented several production-ready web modules for clients—including reporting, document management, and the administration and processing of large volumes of AIS data, including visualization, as well as the processing of IoT sensor data. Additionally, built a marketplace for booking processes at mooring locations, migrated existing legacy software to a modern architecture, and was responsible for system architecture, IT infrastructure, and recruiting.

As an external development partner, I have implemented customized web solutions for companies in various industries—ranging from monitoring software for wind turbines to event management platforms with ticketing and payment integration (see reference projects below). Additionally, I have been responsible for the operation, maintenance, and security of the associated server and backup infrastructure for external clients.

Took on the technical and organizational leadership of a 12-person development team and initiated and implemented the transformation of development processes, architectural standards, and the technology stack into a modern, agile software landscape.

Assumed overall technical responsibility for the software architecture and database design of desktop and web applications, including REST APIs, while directly managing international client projects in 2nd- and 3rd-level support.

Developed a web application for operators of small and medium-sized wind turbines to enable centralized monitoring and maintenance planning, including remote access via VNC and statistical analyses for predictive maintenance.

Implemented a comprehensive ticketing and seating management platform for event organizers, including online booking and credit card payments (Stripe)—from concept to live operation.

Comprehensive inventory and reassessment of IT hardware for an office with up to 20 workstations in Vienna—including procurement recommendations as well as on-site installation and setup.
